Sarah is another new model that I hope to work more with this summer. I'm still trying to capture the effects of a live flame. It's not an easy thing to do.

- I am a full-time painter working primarily with the human figure. The David Klein Gallery in Birmingham, Michigan has represented my work for the past twenty years. I have also shown at other venues throughout the United States. I have an MFA from the University of Iowa, went to Skowhegan, and have taught at a number of colleges and universities. I am the recipient of a Pollack-Krasner Award and a Michigan Council for the Arts Grant. I live in Ferndale, Michigan with my wife, two children, a funny dog, and a mean cat.
